What is network marketing verses multi level marketing or mlm? It is essentially the same thing, the industry sees the two synonymous. Network marketing is about networking to build a business team. The traditional way is to sell through the warm market or cold market. You only have a couple options. Try and sell all your family and friends, everyone who you know. Once that dries up you sell everyone you come into contact with face to face on your daily routine.

Or your only other option is to purchase leads. You walk on a tight rope with purchasing leads. You don't know exactly how the lead company got their leads, and the cheap leads are sold to many other people. I know from personal experience starting out that many of the so called leads had no idea that they were leads. Many were on the do not call list.

If you do network marketing the traditional way, there is only two ways to make money.

Attraction Marketing Method To Make Money

Instead of hard selling someone who has shown no interest, you lead someone to where they already want to go. Attraction marketing is about attracting people to you. Attraction marketing is done primarily through the internet. You are not the hunter anymore. Attraction marketing presells.

• Many people who join Network Marketing have no previous business training or skills, and it can feel overwhelming.
• People who buy a franchise prepare themselves more thoroughly for success.
• In a perfect world whoever sponsors you will not just sign you up and leave you hanging, he/she will work with you and help you make money.
• Another interesting fact is that the initial investment is small especially compared to what you would pay if you bought a franchise. With a franchise you could expect to pay between 100,000 to a million dollars or more depending on the franchise. Not only that but they want a large chunk of cash up front just to begin. The challenge is people don't take it serious enough. It becomes a hobby and not a business.
